R.SathishKumar is a Carnatic Classical Violinist who started learning Violin at the age of 6 from his father
Shri. R.Raghunathan.
Later he had his training under Shri. K.T.Sivaganesh for more than a decade.
Sathish got a chance to approach Violin Maestro Padmabhushan Shri M.S.Gopalakrishnan for more advanced learning in 2001 as his previous guru settled down in London. Sathish had rigorous training under MSG Sir for 12 years from 2001 to 2013.
To enhance the violin playing ability, vocal music is very important. Sathish took vocal classes from Vidwan Shri Chinglepet Ranganathan and later from Palghat Shri T.R.Rajaram.
Sathish is a B.Com graduate from RKM Vivekananda College, Chennai, 1998-2001.
